Academic Partnership

MediAssist is developed at Universidad ORT Uruguay as a final thesis project, combining technical innovation with real-world clinical needs.

The team works in partnership with SMIU (Sociedad de Medicina Interna del Uruguay) — a clinical society that brings together internal medicine specialists across Uruguay to advance practice standards and continuing education. SMIU provides clinical domain expertise, validates product direction, and helps ensure the platform addresses real practitioner needs.
